Awards and Prizes

  • Sepehri’s paintings is the most expensive Iranian Modern painting. In Christie’s Auction (2011) his painting from “Tree Trunk” series broke the records and sold in $662,500 and In Tehran auction a tree trunk painting sold for around 28bn Rials ($1,800,000), becoming the most expensive painting ever sold in Iran

Artistic Activities

  • Collaborated with the arts magazine, Panjeh-e-Khorous (Rooster’s Claw), 1953
  • Stage design for the film “Iron”, written & directed by Khojaste Kia: 1964
